Building Dreams
NZ$650.00

Back in the 60/70s many people emigrated from the UK to NZ on assisted relocation packages - £10 poms they became known as. Arriving with nothing, and not much of an idea of what to expect beyond a few grainy black and white promotional videos. My parent made that bold move, and I’m so grateful they did. This painting references the building of homes around Sunnynook Road, Auckland circa 1970.
